Les crus du Cognac

Jean Paul Lafragette has decided to share the joys of the region and its authenticity, so far Réserved to the sole cellar masters. L&L Cognac House provides access to this exclusive privilege with its collection of 'Les Crus du Cognac', enabling Cognac lovers to discover the wealth of differences. Housed in a wooden gift-box containing five 20cl miniatures, or in the traditional Cognac style 70cl bottles in individual packs, in wood. A presentation inspired by antique shapes of packaging found in our archives.

Grande ChampagneGrande Champagne, fine and light, is the most refined growth, producing an eau-de-vie with a predominantly and incredibly long-tasting floral bouquet. It is remarkably well-suited to aging.
Petite ChampagnePetite Champagne, with its mellow quality, comes a very close second to Grande Champagne. This growth is distinguished by a more powerful body. Occasionally lighter than Grande Champagne, it has a slightly fruity aroma which blends nicely with a predominantly floral nose.
BorderiesThe Borderies are fine, soft eaux-de-vie, characterized by their roundness and rich violet bouquet. They are reputed to reach their optimal final quality in lesser years than the others.
Fins BoisThe Fins Bois are light and firmly structured. They nonetheless have roundness, mellowness and charm which make them ideal for an introduction to Cognac. Their faster aging gives them a more vigorous taste than the mellow finesse of Champagnes.
Bons BoisThe vigorous Bons Bois have a distinctive taste, not so much of the wood but more reminiscent of moorlands by the sea, of shrubs and wild fruits. This is a somewhat craggy Cognac.
